Established in 1967, The Cheese Shop in Concord is one of the country’s premier cheese shops with an outstanding deli, full kitchen, wine, and specialty grocery located in the historic downtown of Concord Massachusetts. We love what we do and we love our farmers, producers, and importers as they provide us with the opportunity to share beautiful products with our customers.
About the Job
At The Cheese Shop, we are focused on developing our people to continue to grow professionally, explore areas of interest, and expand their broader skillset. We welcome creative thinking, collaboration, and a can-do attitude. Working as a Cheesemonger, you will partner with our incredible team to help customers find the perfect cheese and charcuterie for any occasion, contribute to curating our full selection, and collaborate closely with all departments across the shop.
This role also offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of wine, guiding customers through thoughtful cheese and wine pairings, assisting with maintaining and merchandising our wine selection, and learning the foundations of buying. For those interested, there is a clear path to grow into a wine-focused role, with hands-on experience and mentorship toward becoming a wine buyer.

Shift Information:
Our store hours are 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. A typical shift is a full day at the store.
We are looking for someone who can work 25-40 hours a week.
Compensation
· $22-28 + depending on experience
