Job Title: Assembly Operator
Duration: 3 months temp with a possibility of extension or conversion
Pay rate range: $19.50- $21.50

General Summary:

As an Assembly Operator, you will:

  • Operate manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment under supervision.

  • Inspect die and packages to Military and Jedec standards using high- and low-power microscopes.

  • Follow defined specifications and reaction paths based on written or verbal instructions.

  • Use multiple hand tools to process delicate products without damaging components.

  • Train other employees on basic equipment operation and assembly processes.

  • Maintain well-organized, audit-ready work areas.

  • Utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or GED (previous experience in electronic/semiconductor assembly is a plus).

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • A stable work history.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and report daily outcomes.

  • Excellent attention to detail, including screening, visual inspections, measurements, and sorting of semiconductor devices.

Required Skills:

  • Basic computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Office software suite.

  • Ability to understand and interpret assembly drawings.

  • Soldering experience (preferred).

  • Cleanroom experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.
