Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to deliver exceptional behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Massachusetts. As a member of our Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will provide outpatient psychotherapy and related clinical support, assisting patients in navigating various mental health challenges through tailored, evidence-based treatment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and develop diagnostic impressions based on DSM-5 criteria.
- Collaboratively create individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's goals, strengths, and needs.
- Provide individual, family, and, when suitable, group therapy utilizing methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy-informed techniques, solution-focused approaches, and other evidence-based practices.
- Regularly assess patient progress, revise treatment plans, and modify interventions to ensure effective, outcome-oriented care.
- Maintain timely and precise documentation of all clinical interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy policies.
- Engage in case consultations and coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and community resources.
- Participate in crisis assessments and interventions for patients presenting acute safety concerns, contributing to safety planning and risk assessment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A relevant degree in mental health or a related field.
- Licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
- Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
