Job Title: Production Assembler

Job Description

The Production Assembler works in a cleanroom environment to pack, clean, tag, and bag parts for shipment in accordance with detailed work orders and instructions. This role requires consistent use of personal protective equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented procedures in a high-volume contract manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a cleanroom environment to clean, pack, tag, and bag parts accurately for shipment.
  • Follow work orders and written work instructions to ensure all parts are processed correctly and on time.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to assembly, packing, and cleanroom processes.
  • Use tools, including those that involve heat, safely and effectively during assembly and packing tasks.
  • Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (coat, eyewear, gloves, mask, hairnet, shoe covers) for the duration of each shift.
  • Handle parts carefully to maintain cleanliness and quality standards throughout the assembly and packing process.
  • Support large-volume manufacturing projects by meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Perform basic computer tasks to access work instructions, record information, or complete competency assessments as required.
  • Participate in competency assessments to demonstrate understanding of procedures and ability to perform assigned tasks.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with cleanroom and safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom assembly or cleanroom production environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and work orders accurately.
  • Comfortable using tools that involve heat in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Ability to successfully complete a competency assessment.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing instructions and entering data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to wear and work in full PPE for the duration of the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a basic assembler in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with documentation and packing processes in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with contract manufacturing and large-volume production work.
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule from 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom setting where strict cleanliness and safety standards are followed. The position follows a 2nd shift schedule from 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Employees work with tools that may involve heat and use basic computer systems to follow instructions and record information. The facility includes an onsite gym, an employee lounge with comfortable seating and a flatscreen TV, and hosts regular social events such as monthly barbeques and company gatherings. On designated days, employees may bring their dogs to work, contributing to a friendly and relaxed environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $22.00/hr.
