Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, school-year position, set to begin August 20, 2026, runs through June 16, 2027*. Contribute your expertise to a collaborative setting Monday through Friday for a total of 35 hours per week—providing specialized instruction to high school students and guiding them toward academic and personal success.
What You'll Bring:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Prior experience working with high school students in a resource or special education setting preferred
- In-depth understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and required compliance documentation
- Strong commitment to supporting students with Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, and Emotional Disabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, specially designed instruction and support as outlined in each student’s IEP
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students, adjusting as needed by assigned responsibilities
- Complete all required paperwork to ensure IEP compliance and adherence to special education regulations
- Facilitate ongoing progress monitoring, making instructional adjustments when necessary
- Maintain consistent communication with families, staff, and service providers
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting growth and independence for each student
