Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide part-time physical therapy services to K-8 students in a school setting, supporting students physical development and mobility within a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers flexible scheduling options with onsite service delivery across multiple campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy interventions to students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student participation in school activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions in compliance with state regulations.
- Travel to various school campuses within Lawrence, MA to provide services as required.
- Participate in required trainings and complete necessary background checks, including fingerprinting and CORI.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.
- Previous experience providing physical therapy services in school or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to adhere to scheduling flexibility, working up to 10 hours weekly, primarily between 8 AM and 3 PM.
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks.
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite only position with travel to multiple campuses located in Lawrence, MA.
- Part-time contract role starting August 11, 2025 and ending June 17, 2026.
- Flexible weekly schedule totaling approximately 10 hours, accommodating student and school needs.
