About On the Wall Custom

\n

On the Wall Custom is a woman-owned print shop serving Middleboro and surrounding areas. We create ‘branding you can touch,’ whether that’s decorated apparel, large format prints, custom picture framing, vehicle lettering, or anything else you can think of! We’re growing quickly and looking for someone who can be the welcoming and organized first point of contact that keeps our ‘front of house’ humming.

\n

The Role

\n

We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented multitasker to own the inside sales experience, from the first phone call or email to the final pickup. You'll be the go-to person our customers rely on day to day, you’ll help translate their ideas into approved designs, and work closely with our Production Manager to keep orders on track. This is a great fit for someone who loves people, likes keeping things organized while still being creative, and wants room to grow with a small business.

\n

• Schedule: In Person Tuesday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (18 hours per week, part-time with potential for full-time in 6-12 months)

\n

• Pay: $18–$22/hour, based on experience

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Answer phone calls, monitor/respond to email inquiries promptly and warmly, and greet walk-in customers

\n

• Help customers develop initial ideas (using tools like Canva) and build proposals and quotes for custom framing, embroidery, screen printing, vinyl signage, and other projects

\n

• Partner with our graphic designer to hand off and track more complex design requests

\n

• Organize and place orders with vendors for materials and supplies, ensuring accurate quantities and on-time delivery

\n

• Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure projects are moving through each stage in a timely manner

\n

• Occasional lifting of materials, and standing for periods of your shift will be common

\n

What You Bring

\n

• Knowledge of basic design tools (Canva or similar), with a willingness to grow those skills over time

\n

• Experience with Google Workspace is strongly preferred

\n

• Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in writing

\n

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple customer projects at once

\n

• A friendly, customer-first attitude and comfort working face-to-face with the public

\n

• Eager to learn new systems, and always looking for ways to improve them

\n

• Prior retail, customer service, or small-business experience is a plus

\n

Growth Opportunity

\n

This role is built to grow. As On the Wall Custom expands, there's a clear path from this position into a Full-Time Customer Experience Lead or Manager role, taking on more ownership of the customer pipeline, design workflow, and potentially other team members. Benefits options will be discussed as the role transitions to full-time.

\n

Why You'll Like It Here

\n

• A genuinely fun, tight-knit small-shop environment

\n

• Variety: no two days look the same between phone calls, proposals, and design

\n

• The chance to grow with a business that's actively investing in its people, and your ideas will be heard

\n

• Be part of work that leaves a mark, literally. Customers walk out with something they'll hang, wear, or give as a gift for years to come.
