Our client, a technology company that designs and manufactures autonomous home robots, is looking for someone to join their team as a Procurement Manager in Bedford, MA.

This is a W2 contract budgeted until March 19, 2027

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement activities while continuously improving the processes, systems, supplier relationships, and operating practices that support the function. This person will have the opportunity to influence how procurement operates across the organization, identify opportunities to reduce complexity, strengthen controls, improve stakeholder experience, and deliver measurable business value.

What You Will Be Doing

Procurement Operations & Process Improvement
\n

- Lead the continuous improvement of global procurement processes, policies, workflows, and operating procedures to reduce cycle times, strengthen controls, eliminate unnecessary steps, and improve the internal customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and digitize procurement activities across source-to-contract and procure-to-pay processes.
- Partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to implement scalable procurement solutions, strengthen governance, and resolve recurring operational challenges.
- Lead or support procurement transformation initiatives, systems implementations, and the operationalization of the Walking Plastic Procurement Card program.
- Administer Concur and support travel policies, escalations, visa documentation, and global traveler requirements.
- Manage the global corporate credit card program in partnership with Finance, Treasury, and AP, including card issuance and spending limits.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

- Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to business leaders and functional stakeholders, ensuring Procurement is engaged early in business decisions.
- Partner with sourcing teams and business functions to understand requirements, develop effective procurement strategies, and drive solutions from planning through execution.
- Translate complex procurement issues into clear recommendations and build alignment across competing priorities.

Risk, Compliance & Governance
\n

- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations while maintaining efficient business operations.
- Strengthen procurement controls, governance, documentation, and audit readiness without creating unnecessary operational friction.
- Support supplier due diligence, onboarding, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring while identifying and mitigating supplier, contractual, financial, and operational risks.
- Partner with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure contracts and supplier relationships appropriately protect the company.

Data, Technology & Leadership

- Analyze procurement and spend data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement; develop and maintain meaningful KPIs and dashboards.
- Evaluate procurement systems and technologies to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, automation, and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Mentor and develop procurement team members while promoting consistent best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current on procurement technology, market trends, supplier dynamics, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
\n

- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supplier management.
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end sourcing initiatives and managing a global supplier portfolio.
- Experience managing and developing teams in a global environment.
- Proven success improving procurement processes, operational workflows, and organizational efficiency.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Finance, IT, Operations, Legal, and business leadership.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced experience with Oracle EBS, including Internet Procurement, Purchasing, Suppliers, Credit Cards, and Approvals.
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical, financial, and commercial skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- LogicGate experience is a plus.
