Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing essential occupational therapy services to students during the extended school year session. This short-term contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT who enjoys collaborating with educational teams and supporting students in reaching their individual goals.

Your schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 12 pm, July 6 through July 31. You'll provide direct and consultative services to students with disabilities, ensuring their Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives are met during this vital summer period.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver hands-on and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and successful school participation.
  • Accurately document each session, noting progress and maintaining records in compliance with required standards.
  • Work closely with educators, related service providers, and families to coordinate support and ensure continuity of care.
  • Adapt therapy materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs in both school and community-based environments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience providing OT services in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with IDEA, IEP processes, and special education collaborative practices.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Proactive and flexible clinical approach, with a commitment to student-centered care.

This role is perfectly suited to an occupational therapist who values teamwork, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a difference in a collaborative, student-focused setting. If you have relevant experience and are passionate about supporting student growth and success, submit your application today to be considered! Let your expertise help shape a positive summer experience for students in need of occupational therapy support.
