Job Description
Production Manager - Permanent hire
Experience:
• 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly operations in a technical or industrial environment
• 2–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production or shop setting
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow management
• Experience working with quality systems and participating in audits
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred), including BOM and inventory management
Skill Requirements:
• Strong operational leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
Education: High School Diploma. 2-year degree preferred.
