Site: Boston Eye Surgery and Laser Center is seeking a per diem surgical technologist for a fast-paced ophthalmic surgery center.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Surgical Technologist Certification required

· Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

· Monday through Thursday 7am – 5:30pm

· No weekends, no nights, major holidays acknowledged

· Pay Range $29.00 - $45.00/Hourly

· The base pay information provided offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications; however, it does not encompass all elements contributing to your total compensation package

Minimum two scheduled shifts per month

Responsibilities

· Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures

· Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities

· Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students
