We are Hiring an HVAC Service Technician - Oil Burner Technician to be part of our residential team!

Job Title: Oil Burner Service Technician - HVAC

Work Hours: Day Shift, 8-hour workday; flexible start time

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, overtime available, and on-call rotation

Pay Rate: $38.00 to $45.00 + per hour. We pay based on experience and capabilities

What you will be doing:

  • Service and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
  • Working with oil burners, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
  • Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
  • Experience service /maintenance/ troubleshooting / repairing, a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Consulting with and educating homeowners on systems and product
  • Ability to contact tech support with diagnostic questions
  • Daily use of tablet

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 5 + years of HVAC experience
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • MA Oil license
  • Experience consulting customer with repair and replace decisions
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate from a HVAC Technical School desired
