Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification (as required by state)
- Prior experience supporting children in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic interventions tailored for school-aged populations
- Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic educational environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students as outlined in their treatment plans
- Assist with executing therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP
- Collect and document data on student progress toward treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to maximize student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
