Job DescriptionRegistered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Private Practice – Dover, NH
Peterson Family Dental is a privately owned dental practice in Dover, NH, looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team!
We’re a family-focused practice where quality patient care is our priority. We value getting to know our patients, building long-term relationships, and creating a warm, welcoming experience.
We believe in work/life balance and providing our hygienists with the time they need to do their job well. You won’t be rushing from patient to patient or feeling like you have to cut conversations short. Our hygienists have time during appointments to provide thorough care, educate patients, and build meaningful relationships.

Schedule (Full-Time, Part-Time, or One Day a Week)
- Monday–Thursday
- 7:45 AM–5:30 PM
- 1-hour scheduled lunch break
- No weekends
Pay & Benefits
- $55–$60/hour, depending on experience
- 401(k)
- Paid holidays
- 1 week of paid sick time
- Paid vacation:

- 1 week during your first year
- 2 weeks after 3 years
- 3 weeks after 5 years
- Access to a 529 Plan
What You’ll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Prophylaxis
- Scaling and root planing (SRP)
- X-rays
- SDF placement
- Sealant placement
- Patient education and oral health discussions
- Assisting with sterilization
- Cleaning and preparing operatories for the next patient
- Working closely with the rest of the dental team
Being willing to pitch in and help wherever needed is an important part of being successful on our team.

- Licensed/certified to administer local anesthesia
