Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to join our practice on a part-time basis (around 20 clients per week). The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and families, committed to evidence-based care, and excited to contribute to a growing team. This role is ideal for clinicians looking for flexibility, connection, and a supportive therapeutic community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy (primarily children and adolescents; some adults as needed)
- Conduct intake assessments and create treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with caregivers, school staff, and other providers when appropriate
- Participate in case consultation and team meetings
- Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Active clinical license or license-eligible (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
- Afternoon/evening availability required
