Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and offering night shifts on a 13-week contract.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- No on-call or float requirements
- EMR: Meditech Expanse; medication dispensing via Omnicell
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
Additional Information
- Orientation is 16 hours, completed over either two 8-hour or two 12-hour shifts with a preceptor
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Candidates must provide 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
