Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract role calls for dedicated Special Education professionals to provide expertise in Substantially Separate Classrooms serving K-1st grade and 3rd-5th grade students. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Demonstrated experience or training in specially designed instruction
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience is preferred
- Comfort with supporting students needing toileting and various physical supports
- Experience working with students with severe disabilities, both cognitive and physical
- Ability to adapt communication; familiarity with non-verbal strategies/tools is a plus
- Collaborative spirit and a passion for inclusive education
- Flexibility and resilience in dynamic educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored for students with diverse needs
- Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and adaptive strategies in both academic and functional skills
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, including RBTs and other support staff
- Maintain a nurturing, safe classroom environment that accommodates physical and cognitive needs
- Record ongoing student progress in accordance with IEP goals and compliance standards
- Support personal care and toileting needs compassionately and respectfully
