Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an Operating Room nurse (recent experience preferred)
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis, procedures, and instrumentation
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the surgical suite before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery, including proper patient positioning and equipment setup
- Monitor patient status, anticipate needs, and address complications promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and procedures using electronic health records
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols, policies, and safety standards
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families
