An opportunity is available for a passionate part-time Occupational Therapist to work in-person with students from Pre-K through 12th grade for the 2026–2027 school year. This rewarding contract position starts August 27, 2026, and extends through June 2027, providing a consistent, supportive presence across the academic year.
Enjoy a focused, manageable schedule of 1.5 days per week, with preferred hours on Wednesdays and a half day on Tuesdays—flexibility may be available to accommodate your needs.
Your qualifications and experience:
- Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous school-based OT experience is preferred
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, evaluation, and documentation
- Familiarity with supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferred
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and supporting the district’s COTA, providing guidance and mentorship
- Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to identify and track student needs
- Completing progress reports and maintaining all required documentation
- Delivering a limited amount of direct OT services to students, focusing on their unique goals
- Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, special education teams, and related service providers to maximize student success
- Taking part in IEP meetings and contributing expertise as needed
