Key Responsibilities
- Receive and count stock items; record data manually or using computer systems.
- Pack and unpack items for stocking in designated areas.
- Verify inventory computations against physical counts; investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or labeling equipment.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep records of stock usage, damage, and equipment handling.
- Inspect stock items for wear or defects; report damage to supervisors.
- Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse or storage yard workers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- High school diploma or GED
