Job Title: CT Technologist (Travel – Radiology)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $3,136 per week
Shift & Schedule: Flexible Scheduling (Mon–Sun rotation available) | Weekly Hours: 32–40 Hours (Flexible)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CT Technologist (Travel – Radiology) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scanning procedures per physician orders and protocols
- Operate CT imaging equipment and control consoles accurately
- Select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical needs
- Position patients and ensure proper immobilization when required
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and communication during procedures
- Explain procedures and address patient concerns
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during imaging as needed
- Administer or assist with contrast media if trained and authorized
- Review images for diagnostic quality
- Maintain radiology records and documentation
- Follow radiation safety standards and exposure control protocols
- Maintain equipment functionality and report issues
- Participate in continuing education and maintain certifications
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- AMA-accredited Radiography program graduate required
- ARRT certification required
- Massachusetts Radiation Control License required
- CT certification or ARRT CT registry required
- Minimum 3 years Radiologic Technologist experience OR 1 year recent CT experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong CT imaging and radiation safety knowledge
- Ability to work 16-hour weekend shifts
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in high-volume hospital setting
