Director of Food and Beverage – Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel
Join our dynamic team at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel as the Director of Food and Beverage. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all food and beverage operations within our esteemed hotel, including our flagship restaurants, MVP.Pub, Picks Restaurant, and the Starbucks location at 1414 Main Street, Springfield, MA. We are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovative service and high-quality offerings, and we are looking for a passionate, experienced professional to lead our Food and Beverage team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and Starbucks, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability across all food and beverage venues.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of managers and staff to deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to create innovative menus and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and analyze performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Director of Food and Beverage or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and hospitality management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.
