About The Cheese Shop
The Cheese Shop in Concord is one of the country’s premier cheese shops with an outstanding deli, full kitchen, wine, and specialty grocery located in the historic downtown of Concord, MA. We are in the process of expanding our menu of prepared foods and are looking for experienced cooks to help prepare new dishes as well as and our iconic sandwiches.
About the Job
At The Cheese Shop, we are focused on developing our people to continue to grow professionally, learn, and expand their skill set. We welcome innovation, collaboration, and a can-do attitude. Working in the kitchen you will be working with an amazing staff to prepare our daily lunch specials, sandwiches, baked goods, soups, appetizers, and entrees.
A candidate that would fit in well here:
· Has a minimum of 2 years prep cook experience
· Is clean, organized, and efficient
· Has solid knife skills
· Happy to be customer facing for sandwich service
· Available on weekends
· Can multi-task
· Plans to stay and grow with us
Shift Information:
As our store hours are 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (12-5 on Sunday), we are looking for a day shift for either opening or closing depending on the day.
Compensation
· $18-24+ depending on experience
