Position Summary:
Fabreeka is a Stabilus owned company which is located in Stoughton, MA. Fabreeka brings nearly a century of experience providing vibration isolation and shock control solutions for customers worldwide.
We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist. They are in charge of setting up, programming and operating “Flow” waterjet machines to manufacture Fabreeka products, ensuring the correct quantities and the right types of materials are used while maintaining a high level of quality. We have one position available on our either our 1st Shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) or our 2nd Shift (2:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.). The training will take place on the day shift which is Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.Please note there is a 10% shift premium on the 2nd Shift.
Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
· Mechanically inclined, water jet or CNC Machinist experience is preferred
· Work on both automated and manual equipment/machinery
· Experience setting up, changing over, programming and operating water jet, CNC or plasma or laser cutting equipment is required.
· CAD experience is preferred.
· Read blueprint
· Lift heavy load
· Use simple measurement tool such as scale or caliper
· Work with the Fabreeka team
· Respect our distributors and customers’ confidentiality
· Keep the working area clean
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
· Machinist or mechanical background
· Communicate in English
· Fork truck experience a plus
· GED or High school diploma a plus
