Twisters Gymnastics Club is committed to nurturing strong, confident athletes in a fun and supportive environment. We're currently searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. If you're passionate about coaching and inspiring young athletes, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different skill levels.
- Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and routines in a safe and encouraging manner.
- Ensure all coaching follows Gymnastics Australia safety guidelines and best practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and motivation to help athletes improve.
- Monitor progress and adapt training plans to individual athlete needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment where gymnasts feel supported.
- Assist with competitions, events, and showcases as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching gymnastics, preferably in a club or school setting.
- Gymnastics Australia accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging coaching style.
- Ability to work well with gymnasts of all ages and skill levels.
- A passion for gymnastics and helping young athletes grow in confidence and ability.
The pay for this role is $16-$40/hour. This is an indicative range for a casual employee. Our pay rates are under the Fitness Industry Award rates and are dependent on your age and experience.
