Job Title: CT Technologist Specialist I
Duration: Full Time
Location: Pittsfield, MA
My client is looking for a high-performing imaging department in Pittsfield, as a CT Technologist Specialist I. This full-time, second-shift position (Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) offers a dynamic work environment with a strong commitment to professional development and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of CT imaging procedures using independent judgment and technical expertise.
Apply advanced knowledge in CR, DR, and PACS systems, and troubleshoot as needed.
Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental infection control and safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
Support smooth operations by participating in PACS, HIS, and RIS system usage and maintenance.
Demonstrate a commitment to patient privacy and safety.
May assume supervisory or instructional roles as needed.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) and eligible for CT certification (ARRT-CT) within 1 year of hire.
Current Massachusetts Radiography License.
CPR certification is required.
One year of experience in radiology or X-ray is preferred, but not required.
Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a Massachusetts-licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) with strong foundational imaging skills and readiness to obtain CT certification. They are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, second-shift hospital setting while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. They are detail-oriented, technically proficient with PACS/CR/DR systems, and capable of mentoring or supporting team members when needed.
