Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:
\n
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure for Massachusetts.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist, including outpatient and routine exams with and without contrast. (Preferred: experience in a hospital or high-volume outpatient imaging center.)
- Competence with Siemens 3T systems or equivalent 3T MRI scanners preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to insert peripheral IVs and administer MR contrast using an MR-compatible power injector.
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols, patient screening for contraindications, and management of adverse contrast reactions.
- Experience performing quality assurance (QA) procedures on MRI scanners and documenting QA results.
- Ability to rotate among multiple MRI scanners within a department and work in a two-tech team model.
- BLS certification.

Assignment Details

- Facility Type: Hospital outpatient imaging.
- Shift Name: Other.
- Shift Schedule: Tuesdays 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Fridays 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; every other Saturday or Sunday 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Environment: Two-tech team model; rotating coverage across MRI scanners in the assigned department.
- Equipment: Siemens 3T Vida scanners on software level XA 60.
