Job Description Wood Assembly / Crate Builder
We’re hiring Wood Assemblers / Crate Builders to build wooden shipping crates and pallets. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable using power tools and has experience building or assembling products.
What You’ll Do
- Build and assemble wooden shipping crates and pallets
- Measure, position, and assemble wood components
- Safely use nail guns, drills, hammers, and other hand/power tools
- Follow assembly instructions and production requirements
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work as part of a production team to meet daily goals
What We’re Looking For
- Previous wood assembly, carpentry, construction, crate/pallet building, or production assembly experience
- Hands-on experience building items such as furniture, shelving, sheds, cabinets, or similar products
- Comfortable and efficient using nail guns and drills
- Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
- Steel-toe footwear required
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to complete required pre-employment screening, including a basic math assessment
