Associate Attorney - Asbestos Litigation

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This role is hybrid (3 days in office), competitive compensation, and great benefits. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse range of litigation cases, particularly in the area of toxic torts, and will play a crucial role in advocating for our clients' best interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of litigation cases
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to toxic torts and litigation
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials
  • Participate in depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations
  • Monitor case progress and maintain accurate records of case activities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts in the field

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar
  • 3-5+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in toxic tort cases
  • Familiarity with asbestos, ACM, benzene, and toxicology is a plus
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
