Lead Service Technician – Residential HVAC/R
Location: Newton, MA Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly Pay: $45 to $50 (based on experience) plus overtime
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
We are seeking an experienced Lead Service Technician to handle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations on residential HVAC/R systems. This role offers competitive pay, steady work, strong benefits, and a balanced schedule in the Newton area.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install residential HVAC/R systems to the highest industry standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining system issues, options, and recommendations.
- Keep service vehicles stocked, organized, and ready for daily calls.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and service updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC/R experience in residential HVAC maintenance and service.
- Current Refrigeration Technician license required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient in brazing, soldering, and standard HVAC/R practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- EPA certification required; refrigeration license preferred.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
