Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a qualified Special Education Teacher for a school district in the Pittsfield, MA area. This role is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to supporting students with varying abilities and creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
- Write and maintain compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with general education staff, therapists, and families to support student success
- Track and report student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as appropriate
- Implement classroom management techniques that foster a structured and supportive atmosphere
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal special education guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related discipline
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Must meet all district and state hiring requirements

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
