About the Role
\n
On the River Inn is ready to take the next step, and this manager will be central to making that happen. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be the hotel's visible, day-to-day cultural leader: setting the example for genuine hospitality, building trust across departments, and helping employees take pride in delivering a consistently excellent guest experience. You will develop people through regular coaching, recognize great work, and address performance gaps with clear expectations and accountability.
\n
The Hotel Operations and Events Manager is responsible for the daily operation of all guest-facing departments and employees at On the River Inn, leading the teams and processes that shape the guest interaction from pre-arrival through post-departure. This role owns service standards, staffing, training, and issue resolution across the guest experience, and is accountable for consistent, high-quality delivery of the On the River Inn brand.
\n
In addition to the operations role, this manager owns the planning and onsite delivery of booked group stays, meetings, and catered events, translating client commitments into clear plans for each department. This hands-on leadership role combines two core responsibilities: operational leadership and event delivery. The position assumes ownership once the business is confirmed, leading planning, coordination, onsite delivery, final billing, and post-event follow-up.
\n
You will partner closely with Sales, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Marketing teams to execute group programs and drive revenue. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is highly organized, calm under pressure, service-obsessed, and skilled at developing people.
