Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Concord, NH. This role is responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments across multiple transportation modes while ensuring freight moves efficiently and deliveries are completed on time.

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to manage shipments from pickup through delivery. This includes monitoring shipment status, resolving service issues, coordinating routing and rate information, and ensuring all transportation documentation is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and track shipments across various transportation modes.
  • Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery to help ensure on-time service.
  • Communicate regularly with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements.
  • Proactively identify and resolve transportation delays, service issues, and other exceptions.
  • Assist with rate quotes, routing decisions, and transportation planning.
  • Ensure required shipping and transportation documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal transportation systems.
  • Utilize TMS platforms, spreadsheets, and other technology to track and manage freight.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support efficient movement of goods and customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and overall efficiency.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and service-focused work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess shipment options and support data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple shipments, deadlines, and competing tasks.
  • Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), spreadsheets, and basic office software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
