Probationary Period: Ninety (90) days
Work Schedule: 40 hours / week
Salary Range: Updated Annually

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Early Care and Education Site Supervisor (ECE Site Supervisor) is responsible for the oversight and implementation of overall daily operations of the ECE site with the primary concern for safety, licensing and family engagement.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or documentation demonstrating qualifications as a Center Director per NH Childcare Licensing guidelines.
- Minimum of 1500 hours experience working with children in a licensed childcare program or public / private elementary school.
- Documentation of 3 credits in management or supervision, or at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Current or ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
- Able to lift 25-40 lbs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management
- Assumes responsibility for the center’s day-to-day operation.
- Ensures the health and safety of children and staff by maintaining a healthy and safe environment. Ensure facilities, equipment and supplies are adequately and appropriately maintained.
- Primary contact for Childcare Licensing Unit, with support from the Education Manager. Ensures that facilities and documentation are maintained in accordance with NH licensing requirements, safety policies and CAPSC procedures. Including monthly fire and emergency drills, maintaining online NHCIS site, and signing accident/incident reports, ensuring appropriate documentation standards are met.
- Responsible for ensuring location is up to date with Granite Steps for Quality reporting.
- Responds effectively to crisis situations.
- Support classrooms as needed, to ensure licensing ratios are being met.
- Informs Facilities of any facility improvements needed. Acts as point of contact for facilities or contractors.
- Ensures all teacher and child files are CCLU compliant
- Organizes and recruit summer programming
Family and Community Relationships

Staff Management
- Responsible for classroom staff schedule, ensuring child to staff ratio is CCLU and Head Start (if applicable) compliant.
- Meets regularly with the Education managers and coaches to evaluate and maintain documentation for educator’s professional development hours and assist in determining training needs.
- Effectively delegates responsibilities to team members.
- Approves timesheets, expense reports, mileage reports, time off requests and other employee action forms for assigned site’s HS Lead Teachers, Early Childhood Educators, Assistant Early Childhood Educators, Early Childhood Classroom Aides and Program Assistant
- Identifies agenda items for monthly building meetings in conjunction with other program managers
- In conjunction with the Education Manager provides input on staff evaluations and goal setting.

EMPLOYMENT SCREENING
Valid Driver's License and insured vehicle (100/300 minimum coverage) for use on the job or acceptable alternative, driving record check, criminal record check, randomized drug screening.
Head Start, Early Head Start, Childcare, and Home Visiting Programs are also subject to the following: Head Start and childcare licensing requires a criminal record check and finger printing to be completed prior to employment. An initial physical examination record, including a TB screening must be obtained within 60 days of hire, updated every three years, and kept on file with Human Resources. If a TB screening indicates high risk, results of a TB test must be kept on file including any treatment received. An initial driving record check will be conducted. License information will also be submitted to the agency’s automobile insurance carrier.
