Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safety leadership across multiple manufacturing locations within the assigned region.
- Drive and continuously improve site safety programs, fostering a culture where safety is integrated into daily operations.
- Partner with site leadership to ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and leading safety indicators are actively monitored and improved.
- Support risk reduction efforts and facilitate Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Risk Assessments.
- Maintain relationships with external organizations, including medical providers, fire departments, emergency response teams, and mutual aid groups to ensure effective emergency preparedness and response.
- Lead incident investigations, communicate findings, oversee corrective action completion, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Promote a culture of early injury and incident reporting, as well as the submission of near misses, good catches, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Recognize and encourage employee engagement in safety initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualification
- sHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- .Minimum of 10 years of industrial/manufacturing HSE experience
- .Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations is required
- .Must hold or be actively pursuing a professional safety certification, such as OHST or CSP
- .Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and coordination skills
