Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification preferred
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IEPs, assessment procedures, and therapeutic interventions for school-aged children
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Capacity to adapt and thrive in a travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Deliver occupational therapy services and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Support a variety of student needs to promote independence and participation in school activities
  • Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
  • Provide consultation and training for staff on strategies and accommodations
