Position Summary:

As a Server at Sala, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service to our patrons. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a delightful dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team will contribute to our restaurant’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink items.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to tables.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Uphold restaurant policies and standards of service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain a Massachusetts Food Handler’s Permit.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
