JOB Title: Machine Operator III –
Location ::(Devens, MA)**01434
**Pay Rate:** $21.76 per hour
**Shift:** 1st Shift, 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (8-hour shifts) with overtime as needed
### Job Summary
A Machine Operator III to join its corrugated packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate corrugator and converting machines used to produce corrugated boxes and packaging products. The position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
### Key Responsibilities
* Operate corrugator and converting machines to manufacture corrugated packaging products.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure product quality and correct dimensions.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
* Inspect finished products for defects and take corrective action when necessary.
* Read and use tape measures to verify product specifications.
* Load and unload materials required for production.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production goals and issues.
* Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
* Support other production and manufacturing activities as assigned.
### Requirements
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
* Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and understand basic English.
* Strong attention to detail and quality control.
* Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
* Experience working in high-speed, high-volume production environments.
* Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
* Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, when required.
* Ability to work extended shifts of up to 12 hours during peak production periods.
### Preferred Skills
* Manufacturing or machine operation experience.
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
* Experience identifying product defects and maintaining quality standards.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety.
