Duties:
- Accurate Verification: Verify merchandise against manifests for shipments received or shipped.
- Detailed Record-Keeping: Meticulously tally shipments, record overages, shortages, and damages.
- RF Scanner Utilization: Utilize RF scanners to confirm product accuracy.
- Efficient Loading & Unloading: Employ dollies and motorized equipment to load and unload furniture of varying sizes.
- Effective Communication: Report merchandise-related issues during storage, picking, or delivery.
- Document Management: Utilize computer-generated tickets and manual move tickets for proper merchandise movement.
- Label Generation: Assist in creating put away, picking, and shipping labels.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal and general housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Warehouse Experience: Preferably, possess 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- Educational Requirement: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, sit, twist, bend, and lift-up to 50lbs.
- Loss Prevention Awareness: Maintain awareness of loss prevention measures.
- Attention to Detail: Exhibit a keen eye for detail in all tasks.
- Communication Skills: Basic English proficiency for effective communication.
