Community Bridges is seeking 1 part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Day Program in Hopkinton, NH.
Founded in 1982, Community Bridges is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their communities. We support more than 1,100 individuals and families throughout the Greater Capital Area by identifying barriers, developing creative solutions, and fostering meaningful community engagement.
Position Overview
As a Day Program Direct Support Professional, you will promote abilities-not disabilities by supporting individuals in building skills, confidence, and meaningful community connections. You will help individuals identify and build upon their unique strengths, interests, and gifts to encourage social inclusion.
Qualifications
Education:

High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
-
Experience in human services or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Additional Requirements:

Compensation & Benefits

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus

$500 paid at hire
-
$500 paid after 6 months
Sign-on bonus applies to new hires only. Rehires and transfers are not eligible. Bonus for full time employees only.

Current Open Positions

Part-Time: Hopkinton, NH - 13 / Hours per week.
Part-time positions may be combined to create full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
-
Support individuals in building self-esteem and independence through planned activities and community involvement
-
Provide individualized supports, including personal care and skill development
-
Assist individuals in maintaining a positive self-image
-
Participate in Person-Centered Planning and implementation of goals
-
Complete required documentation, including data collection and monthly progress notes
-
Maintain compliance with required state and agency trainings (Relias and in-person)
-
Report safety, health, or human rights concerns immediately
-
Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations
-
Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Environment: Primarily community-based; office attendance required for trainings and meetings

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Frequent walking and standing; occasional stair climbing

Ability to push wheelchairs and operate lifts as needed

Ability to follow behavioral intervention techniques

Travel Requirements

Access to a personal vehicle during scheduled work hours

Frequent travel with supported individuals

Valid NH driver's license and safe driving record

Adequate automobile liability insurance
