Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restorative Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and confident in assisting with a wide range of restorative procedures while ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take digital X-rays and impressions
- Fabricate temporary crowns and assist with lab cases
- Ensure proper infection control and compliance with OSHA standards
- Provide chairside support and anticipate the dentist’s needs
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with a focus on restorative dentistry
- Dental Assistant certification as required by MA state regulations
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
- Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
