Burke & Sons Plumbing & Heating INC is seeking a dependable and experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing residential service team. This role focuses on diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems, with a strong emphasis on natural gas and propane heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Service and troubleshoot natural gas and propane heating systems
- Perform seasonal maintenance, inspections, and system tune-ups
- Install HVAC equipment and related components as needed
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues efficiently
- Clearly communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners
- Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle
- Follow all safety procedures, company standards, and local code requirements
- Maintain a clean and professional jobsite at each customer’s home
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experience (required)
- Strong experience working with natural gas and propane heating systems (required)
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining efficiency and quality
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship

Work Schedule
