Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Located near the scenic area of New London, NH, this contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering a full-time schedule between 32.5 and 37.5 hours per week. This vital role will focus on fostering success for students with special needs at both the high school and potentially elementary/preschool level.

Use your expertise in special education to provide tailored instruction and perform case management, ensuring the best possible educational experience for each student. Contribute to a dynamic, supportive environment, working alongside fellow educators passionate about making a difference.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification in Special Education
  • Prior experience in a school setting is required
  • Familiarity with case management responsibilities

  • Flexibility to work at the high school or elementary/preschool level as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and case files
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student performance and needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet student abilities and goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
