Project Manager PM Construction (Large-Scale Vertical Projects)
Job Description
Job Description
Project Manager – Large-Scale Vertical Construction
Ready to step up and take the lead?
We’re working with a respected design-build firm that’s looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team delivering complex vertical building projects. If you’re currently an Assistant PM looking for that next step — and you’ve been exposed to the moving parts of scheduling, procurement, and closeout — this role could be your move.
You’ll be managing high-visibility commercial and mixed-use projects, collaborating with internal teams, subs, and owners to keep things running smoothly, on time, and on budget. You’ll get hands-on ownership — not just support tasks — and be backed by a company that actually invests in developing PMs into Senior PMs and Project Executives.
Why this is a strong next step:
-
Career Growth: Clear path upward. The leadership team wants future senior PMs — not career APMs.
-
Challenging Projects: You’ll work on multi-million-dollar ground-up builds that will push and sharpen your skills.
-
Competitive Pay + Full Benefits: Strong salary, full health coverage, and a package that rewards real responsibility.
-
Team + Structure: Tight project teams, smart systems, no dead weight.
You’re a fit if you:
-
Have 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction, including experience supporting project management activities
-
Have worked on large-scale vertical builds and are familiar with procurement, RFIs, submittals, buyouts, and schedule tracking
-
Want to take ownership and grow into a leadership track — not just execute someone else’s plan
-
Are calm under pressure, quick with a follow-up, and sharp on details
-
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and don’t wait to be told what to do next
