Position Summary:

(This role is in-office only and not a remote or hybrid position)

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to support our cybersecurity compliance efforts under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework while also assisting with automation and systems support. This role requires an understanding of IT processes and cybersecurity standards, without direct IT responsibilities, while combining hands-on experience in automation systems, process improvement, and technical problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s CMMC compliance program.
  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses.
  • Develop, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and documentation to support CMMC compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions for identified gaps.
  • Oversee and maintain SIEM systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Apply machine learning and 3D computer vision techniques (OpenCV, PCL) to enhance automated defect detection and adaptive robotic systems.
  • Programming and API development using Python, Java, and JavaScript to build reliable backends and real-time dashboards.
  • Implement and configure hardware and software systems, utilizing common industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
  • Demonstrate strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions
  • Support automation initiatives, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated systems.
  • Assist with system configuration, integration, and maintenance to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement process improvements.
  • Document system processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff on automation tools and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of IT systems administration or support experience
  • Strong understanding of Windows environments, network administration, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar compliance frameworks required
  • Experience with manufacturing or ERP software systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning tools
