Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Teaching certification required for consideration

  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially in a travel role, is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student growth
  • Track progress, evaluate students’ needs, and modify instructional strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement and challenges
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
