Climb Higher (About the Job)
As part of our continued growth, TCI is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for wireless telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power systems, grounding, and electrical components related to cell towers, small cell sites, and related wireless equipment.
Your Work that Keeps us Connected (Job Responsibilities)
- Leadership & Management - Lead, mentor, and develop electrical staff; set departmental goals; conduct reviews and training.
- Project Oversight - Manage electrical projects end-to-end; review designs and drawings; ensure schedule, budget, and quality compliance; coordinate with other departments.
- Compliance & Safety - Enforce NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local codes; implement safety protocols; oversee quality control and SOP/MOP adherence.
- Financial Management - Develop and manage budgets; forecast resources; approve material requests, POs, and invoices.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Act as primary electrical contact; support proposals and client presentations; build strong vendor and client relationships.
Signal Strength (Qualifications)
- 7+ years of electrical construction/engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Master Electrician license strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with project management tools and electrical design software.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
You'll Rise Above if (additional skillset)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Prior working experience within the wireless industry.
- Prior experience with Distributed Antenna Systems ("DAS").
- Familiarity with DC Power Systems.
- Experience with Back-Up power solutions (Diesel / LP Generator Installation).
- OSHA10 or OSHA 30 Certified.
- Experience with PV and EV Charging Systems.
- CT, VT, NH and RI Electrical License.
