Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as required for Vermont schools
- Experience with pediatric populations or K-12 students—school-based experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and therapeutic intervention planning
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a travel therapy capacity and adapting to new environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school requirements
- Offer strategies and support for classroom accommodations, equipment needs, and overall student success
- Foster a positive, inclusive therapy environment that encourages student growth and participation
This full-time, 40-hour per week assignment is ideal for an experienced or adventurous OT eager to travel, learn, and contribute to a vibrant school community.
