Job Description
Our trusted customer is seeking a Carpenter to support construction of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and other commercial/industrial projects. This role focuses on carpentry while assisting with mechanical equipment, piping, and general construction tasks.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li> Construct wood-framed structures and install siding, roofing, trim, windows, and doors </li>
<li> Install interior components (drywall, ceilings, flooring, insulation) </li>
<li> Read blueprints, measure, cut, and assemble materials </li>
<li> Assist with installation of pumps, piping (PVC &amp; ductile iron), and equipment </li>
<li> Perform material takeoffs and assist with ordering </li>
<li> Ensure quality and accuracy using proper tools </li>
<li> Erect scaffolding and maintain a clean, safe job site </li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li> Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills </li>
<li> Ability to work independently and follow direction </li>
<li> Reliable, adaptable, and safety-focused </li>
<li> High School Diploma </li>
<li> OSHA 10 or 30 preferred </li>
</ul>
Physical Demands:
<ul>
<li> Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, climbing, etc.) </li>
<li> Comfortable working on active construction sites </li>
</ul>
