As a paralegal intern within the OnLogic legal team, you will help ensure our company’s operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. You will gain experience in supporting diverse legal matters, including contract management and regulatory compliance. Successful candidates will possess a strong interest in developing legal processes, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and be eager to learn. You will assist in managing our contract management system, conducting legal research, and drafting documents, while also supporting the team in managing other legal needs of the company. OnLogic's legal team is a dynamic and integral part of the organization, providing crucial support to various departments and playing a key role in protecting OnLogic's interests.
This internship will take place in the summer for 10 to 40 hours per week, onsite at our either our South Burlington, Vermont or Cary, North Carolina office. Here, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Working with OnLogic’s international legal team and other teams within OnLogic to provide an amazing customer experience.
- Providing legal support and research, including:
- Conducting research on laws, regulations, and precedents using online databases like LexisNexis;
- Reviewing large amounts of documents for relevant information, and organizing those documents in a logical way; and
- Organizing and maintaining case files, ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Utilizing strong administrative and organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an ABA-approved (or equivalent) paralegal program, demonstrating foundational legal knowledge.
- Skilled in legal research databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and proficient with standard office software (Google Docs and Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with meticulous attention to detail for accurate document preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain organized files efficiently.
- Upholds high professional standards, demonstrates reliability, and maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Displays a strong desire to learn, takes initiative, and adapts readily to changing priorities and tasks.
- Successful completion of a background investigation.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

The legal department works with all areas of the business to create, review and maintain processes that ensure our interactions with customers, vendors and each other are at the highest legal standards and that we avoid taking unnecessary legal risks.
